BLUE ORB ASKS GAMERS: WANT A FREE YEAR OF WOW?
Maitland, Fla. – Dec. 4, 2007 – Blue Orb, Inc., the company behind SwitchBlade(TM), the software that lets gamers play World of Warcraft(R) with an Xbox 360(R) controller, is giving away a year-long subscription to World of Warcraft for 12 lucky users.
Between Dec. 4 and Dec. 31, gamers can visit www.switchbladegaming.com to download and register SwitchBlade for a chance to win a 12-month subscription to World of Warcraft. Existing registered SwitchBlade users will automatically be entered into the drawing.
SwitchBlade brings the console experience to PC games, starting with World of Warcraft and supporting many other titles in the near future.
Even if it was free I still wouldn’t play WoW ever again. What interested me about this article, is the fact that here is a company who has basically done nothing except take something that others have all ready done and repackaged it under their own name… I guess everyones looking to make a buck or two off of the WoW name now a days. I am surprised we haven’t seen a whole bunch of WoW Game Programming/Design books being shoved down our throat yet…
Wait! Thats my idea bitches, and you better not steal it!!!
Seriously though, I don’t know whether to laugh or cry every time I see some new company or schmuck making profit because he did something World of Warcraft related… Well I guess I better get to work on those books! :) Enjoy!
